99 SE-L * 14.7@94mph

Latest 1/4 update...14.7@94mph. Only got 1 run in so I couldn't practice more, the lines at Ennis were hell with 200+ cars running.

Mods:
Cone filter
Midpipe
Stone Racing Headers
Stone Racing Y-pipe
Testpipe
B&M Short Shifter
Eibach Springs

Next time I go out I definitely expect to drop at least 1/10th...I'm trying for 14.5 though.

Nice run. Your 14.5s will come soon enough. Aim for a 2.20 60' and you'll be very close.

Out of curiosity...what rpm do you launch at with an 'ok' prepped track?

looks like the headers did nothing to improve your times. I have just intake/ypipe and I ran a 14.762 @ 94 with a 2.282 60'. Pretty much the same times as you. I say ditch the headers!

j/k. the sound nice though I've heard a clip. Keep up the practice and 14.5s will come.

hey thats a nice time and good pass ! i would expect a 14.5 or 14.6 out of the car. you know there are so many factors on any given run. track prep, temp, car condition, etc. to effect the times, but hey there is nothing to complain about, as long as you are getting faster ! LOL !

i have a few friends that went over to Texas Motorplex, they said the place was HUGE ! How do you like it ?

edit: im launching around 2500 rpms

double edit: looked at your slip again, what did you race ? minus reaction time, looks like it was a good one !!

I just got 1 run in so I think it is way too early to judge what the headers have or haven't done for me. I also got a y-pipe and gained about 15whp so my time should definitely be lower.

practice...practice...practice

Man the lines were wayy too long. I ended up waiting 1hr+ for my only run. There had to have been 150-200 cars waiting to race.

I'll try different things next time as I'll get more tries.

I was racing my friend Kevin in an '03 SpecV...in DNE there is this big battle-royale going on between the 4th gen Maximas and the SpecVs. They keep talking the trash but aren't able to top my times. Kevin is the only one in a SpecV to break into the 14s with mods. Needless to say I'm more than happy with my 14.7 for now.
I'll have a vid to send to you within a week or so...

look, i love my nissan cousins but you will put a hurting on any stock one. another thing is there third gear is even weaker than ours .. lol ! i dont know any of this for a fact, but i have raced a handful and seen lots of them at the track. i always pull for them but without nitrous or some trickery its low 15 city. love the car though.

no idea how mods help them, would be a great read !
