Clutch Break-In (Clutchnet 6-puck)
I got a Clutchnet 6 puck (ceramic) while I'm doing the 3.5 swap and I was wondering how many miles of break-in would you guys wait before dropping the clutch at 6600 RPM on sticky M&H slicks?

500 at least. 1000 is better. I LOVE mine but I have yet to get to the track. Bought for the S/C I was running but opted to convert to N2O and eventually +Turbo. A lot of guys are sticking by this clutch like a lifeline

That's what Mardi drops his at and it works fine
I'm obviously gonna try it at 3000-4000 before doing anything stupid.
Have you tried blocking your rear springs to reduce suspension travel? That could help you launch higher. The clutchnet catches gradually, so it's a bit like the OEM in design (the pressure plate), disk is completely different though. You have an ACT, right? Maybe that's the problem

Mardigras is spraying out of the hole. He's making the same or more torque the instant he drops the clutch with a sprayed 3.0 than a bolt on 3.5 is making. That's disregarding the fact that he's got a turbo on top of that, which probably takes a half second to start spooling even with the nitrous flowing.

Apparently that limited slip isn't really helping you at the dragstrip. SRT-4s have Quaiffes from 04 up and they aren't doing any better. It seems to be more for handling than anything.
I would think that a bolt-on 3.5 is making power similar to what Mardi has off the line
So do you think Mardi's launching method would be good for me too? We have the same clutch and I'm leaning more towards M&H slicks than MT's right now.

435$ shipped to Canada. 50% resistance over stock (good for 300-350 Crank Torque). You can go up to 600 lbs-tq if you want.

I think you are going to have to figure out what works best for you. I really dislike discussions of "launching methods" because you can't teach it. You just have to try it and see what works best.
