First trip to the track

Finally took the Maxima to the track this weekend. Only got 3 runs in. Atco was pretty bad Fri night with people breaking, including my friend in her Camaro. Luckily for her it just stalled in the staging lanes and we were able to push it out of the way. Thermostat was sticking making the car run too hot. I really hate Dexcool.
I think the timeslips are still in the car, but they were
2.3 16.01 @ 85
2.3 16.0something @ 85
2.4 16.2something @ 86

The 2 runs my friend got in her Camaro were both 12.5 @ 112, not the fastest times it's run, but it was the firs time it went to the track this season.

Her Camaro? Wow...

You trap pretty high for your 1/4 mile, I'm mid-15's and I trap 87mph.

Great Stuff Mate.

Yeah it's pretty mean too. Best run last year was 11.98 @ 114, still need to dial in the carb and set up the suspension to get better launches.
Pics-

The SS looks good - I like your taillights as well man - keep plugging and you'll be low 15's before you know it.

Those are stock 2000-2001 SE taillights, not sure if you guys see them though in the land down under.

Sad to say we don't get the cluster lights - we get the larger, separate bar rear lights.

You know, similar to 4th-gen taillights but brighter bulbs and more modern layout.

I'll probably bring it again next month after I change the coil pack that's acting up, see if I can get a 15.99... sounds better than 16 flat
Honestly it's pretty boring to run this car. I have a 6 speed Camaro myself which is getting built for performance, the Max is the daily driver.
