why? extremely mad after gainsville

ok i have a 2002 with the 3.5 and i ran extremely bad...

60' ... 2.619
330 ... 6.907
1/8 ... 10.318
MPH ... 73.05
1000 ... 13.241
1/4 ... 15.714
MPH ... 91.10

any ideas? was only going hoping for 14's, especially since the true stock
numbers sticky says this car should be mid 14's stock and low 14's with a mod
or two? i have no idea what happened but any ideas are appreciated... i ran
4 times and this was my best run... i know.. pitiful

Wow dude, you were spining tires like crazy on launch. Drop that 60' to 2.1-2.2 and you are in high 14s.

the speed seems pretty low for spinning the tires though, i dunno. try warming the tires in the waterbox before your run even if youre on street tires, looks like you could use all the help you can get. dont expect much better than 14.8 next time you go, it took me a couple runs before i got into the 14's with my 2k2 auto. you just need to figure out the best launch.

I looked up the weather conditions yesterday at your track and the DA' was around 600ft. So conditions wouldn't have caused the car to run so slow. It seems to me that your launch was pretty bad, normal 60' times should be 2.2x range. Another thing to consider is shift points and engine temp? Did you allow the engine to cool between runs or did you hot lap, also did you shift or did the car do the shifting? I'm thinking with a better launch 2.2x and different shift points it should run 14.7-14.9s @ 91-93mph.
