How is this possible
How is this possible
So I took my maxima to the track a few weeks ago and ran a 14.290 at 101 MPH
everyone was like that is a trap speed of a 13's car so I went back today
I weight 3520 BOTH Visits
Only difference in the car is new motor mounts
This is my first 14.290 Second
Temp - 83F
R/T - 1.1011
60' - 2.273
330 - 6.146
1/8 - 9.325
MPH - 79.16
1000 - 12.029
1/4 - 14.290
MPH - 101.32
This is todays run
Temp - 78F
R/T - .606
60' - 2.220
330 - 6.121
1/8 - 9.299
MPH - 78.97
1000 - 12.014
1/4 - 14.290
MPH - 99.88
Can someone explain to me how...
A car weighing the same, on a colder day, at the same track, with better motor mounts, runs better distance times then a previous run yet has no speed.... please can someone please me how that is even possible...
how I can get to every location faster then the previous run, yet my MPH is lower AND I run the same damn quarter...

This information may be wrong... but using averages on info not on the slip this is what I got for yesterdays run
Relative HP = 100.4%
The first 14.290 I ran was
Relative HP = 100.1%
So you can see
First Time run The information (from wunderground.com)
Temp 83F (Timeslip)
Absolute pressure 30.06 inches HG
Relative Humidity 55%
Second time run
Temp 78F (Timeslip)
Absolute Pressure 30.12 inches HG
Relative Humidity 73%
(Used Average for pressure and Humidity)

The differences in your 60" times between the two runs could also be a factor. Your higher trap speed run also has a slower 60" time...I will generally see the same thing, a higher trap with a worse 60 foot.
