first runs as a 6spd

i went to the track on tues for the first time after the swap. i had set my goals as 13.6XX @102.XX. it was about 88* when i got there. i stripped the trunk backseat, console, cd player, and a few other things, and put my 15's on. bad idea

1st run
i was running probably 26-28psi, didnt have a pressure gauge on hand. needless to say, that was too much psi. i spun the s*** out of em off the line and had to short shift to 2nd, where ther broke loose more.

2.525 60
6.723 330
9.929 1/8
78.25 mph
12.623 1000
14.878 1/4
100.07 mph

2nd run
i dropped the pressures to about 25. i launched at about 2k, but i bogged off the line, then broke em loose at the top of first.

2.534 60
6.469 330
9.622 1/8
78.31 mph
12.273 1000
14.503 1/4
101.07 mph

3rd run
i dropped the psi to about 20, and i let the car sit an cool for almost 2hrs. i lauched at about 2500.

2.325
6.176
9.259
80.98
11.880
14.080
102.40

final run
i was going for 13's. i attempted to launch at 3k, but i didnt get any traction off the line.

2.354
6.397
9.527
80.12
12.187
14.414
101.27

overall, i was pleased with my runs. i picked up .2 and over 4mph from my old pb. next time i run, im definately going to keep my 17's on, and start saving up for some slicks. hopefully ill have the eu hooked up also and bring home some 13's.

also, the 6spd was much better than i was expecting at the track. with the 5spd, i was hitting 4th right before the lights. but now its well before it, so i get a chance to pull in 4th gear.

Those are some awesome runs, considering it was 88° outside. When I had the car I also trapped 102.x MPH but in 60° weather and with the 350Z IM.

I can see a VERY low 13 sec pass for you if you can get anywhere near a 60ft like DandyMax!

Most of my 100, 101, and 102 traps were with a 2.2 60ft as well.

slicks will run you about $150 a piece new.

Nice trap speeds for such hot weather, in good weather your car will really be moving.
