My WRX Wagon 2nd time at the track

It was a great night at moroso, the crew from Miami Ink was there, a bunch of maximas and my car got on camera. It wasn't even packed either, I got 12 runs in tonight (in 4 hours, that's awesome!). I was running consistent 13.8's all night with mediocre launches. My best time is as follows:

R/T - .049
60' - 1.999
330 - 5.608
1/8 - NOT RECORDED
MPH - NOT RECORDED
1000 - 11.217
1/4 13.442
MPH 101.45

I had some nice lower 60ft times, but I was experimenting with launching and shift points, so the listed 1/4 time was my best (I got a few 13.5's and 13.6's). Pretty much it was a straight slip from 4500rpms, that was what I was slipping at on my best runs. Race weight was 3175 w/o driver.

Mods:
IHI VF34 turbo (JDM STi Spec C Turbo) 17.5psi full boost
Cobb 3" turbo back exhaust
Cobb Accessport w/VF34 93 octane map
STi Intercooler
Samco Hose Kit
Perrin Drop-in Filter
Stock Struts/Springs
RSB FSTB RSTB ELB
No Cats
Rota GR-A 17" Wheels (19.0LBS approx.)

I was keeping up with modded STi's and an EVO w/2step. I haven't modified the car since I purchased it, It will be getting some nice mods to get it into the 12's very soon. I gave a new modded 07 GT Stang w/spray a run for his money on a few runs. It was a great night.

Now that is a bad-a$$ wagon. I wouldn't mind picking up some groceries in that.

04's supposedly have beefier gears from what I've been told. The 02-some 03's had the **** poor weak gears.

Hopefully - I've taken apart a couple WRX transmissions and the gears are very similar in size to maxima 5spd gears aka tiny. I don't recall what years those were however though.

yes we did, and to top it off, TLC's Miami Ink was filming an episode out there at Moroso. No idea when its gonna get filmed tho. But I guess just keep an eye out for commercials about "miami ink goes to Moroso to meet with "x" dragster race team". They were there the whole day with some funny car team under the tent. At one point the camera was focused on Chris Nunez as I guess he was doing one of those "personal inserts".... Guess who was directly in the background coming around the back of the track while staging? bahahahaha!!!!

If ya see a silver suby wagon, and a black Maxima, that be us!!!
