stock 4th GLE 16.280@83.70 AUTO
So part of the chicago maxus 2007 meet was track meet at bryon today.
My car 98 GLE. FULLY loaded with every option available and I assume the fattest version of the maxima for the year. I’m auto and completely stock. I went mainly to get some baseline runs. It was my first track experience. I watched a couple events but first time actually running. My only track prep was emptying out my truck, spare tire jack and floor mats.
My first run was with 35 PSI in the tires

I would assume my car is running just normally as other stock or close to stock ran similar times as myself. Personally not really happy with them. I honestly thought I would hit 15.9x stock auto. Does everything seem to look like its running decently?
I’ve done all maintence items rather then performance mods to my car, and new KS about last year.

I ran 16.3 with my car bone stock with a bad k/s .. I would check it again if you intalled it too tight it will sense every alittle thing with the engine and think it's knocking
with a new k/s I dropped a 1/2 sec

With a better 60', you might get down to 16.1 or 16.0. As Zack said, though, your trap is a little low also. I was able to get 16.1 @ 84 stock, but I had a 2.4 60' and presumably a dying KS. I also had full street trim (nothing removed).

Don't worry Peter I think everyone at the track wasn't running all that great times. I think the track prep was poorly done for that day. I'm pretty sure if it was preped right and the weather wasn't so bad in the past few days you would of been in the 15s.

well i mean i couldn't tell if the track was prep poorly or not being it my first time but everyone was having high number days. brand new vette auto was running a 13.9x one of the runs i saw it. New mailbu V6 was spanking most of us with his 15.4's i think it was.
so it looks like the numbers from a couple of guys that my KS is goofy. maybe i should slap on that 470k ohm resistor and give it a couple of runs to see if it makes a difference.

so i reinstalled the KS and maybe it was a little more tighter the specs when i put it on. But no codes prior to me pulling it and no codes now after i reinstalled it. It doesn't feel like a single thing happen my car is just slow =(
16.28 and 15.85's is a while lot of diffrence that i dont think can be related to track and weather.
edit, i redid it again thinking i should of ohmed it 520k ohms just about.
