Thanks for the props and you know the crazy thing about that 1.87 60' I was still spinning out the hole. How are the Intake spacers working for you?

The spacers are taking off. Everybody is finding out how much they actually help and sales are increasing. I am currently making a kit for the 4th gen Maxima. I hope it shows a good power increase when I dyno it!

Of course you were spinning the DRs! I spin my 22" slicks easily. I will be hitting the track very soon and will have my suspension setup as good as it will get. I hope to see 1.8s while spraying out of the hole with my 50 or 75 shot. We'll see. 1.9s is my best so far All Motor and with Nitrous, but, 1.7s are possible with 22" MTs. I'm FAR from seeing those like Jime.

Aaron if you hit 1.99 on all motor you can run a 1.7 with a 50 or 75 shot and you have 22" M.T. What tire size are your M.T.'s? I cant find any slicks to fit mine. How many tenghts do you think the spacers will knock off for me with my current setup?

Yeah, I really think 1.7s are possible for me. I am in the process of setting up my suspension right now so the car launches flat. Boat rollers in the rear and zip ties on the front will help that. I removed my old zip ties b/c they were getting worn out after a year of having them on. I've got some fresh ones that are going in shortly.

Today, I'm hopefully getting my 16' nitrous line shortened to 9 feet. That will help a lot with the nitrous to prevent it from changing phases from liquid to gas before it reaches the intake manifold. Plus, less wasted nitrous. It's tough finding a hydraulic hose shop that has a machine that can crimp such a small SS braided hose. If I had a 6an hose, most shops can handle that since it's known as JIC6 in the hydraulic world with a 1/4" ID. But my hose is a tad less than 3/16" ID with a JIC4 fitting and most hydraulic shops don't go that small.

Right now, I have 22x8x15 MT slicks on the 11lb 15x6 Mazda Millenia wheels. They do fit. BARELY! The best wheels for these slicks will be some 15x7 or 15x8s. I plan to get wider wheels to see if it helps the contact patch and traction noticeably.

After talking with you on the phone this morning, I am guessing that a 23-24" slick will work pretty good for you since you have a 5spd AT. There aren't many 6th genners that run at the track. I don't know for sure if a 15" wheel will fit. I know some 15" wheels can fit the 5.5 gen, but I don't know about the 6th gen. I can search a little bit for you to see what I can come up with.

Also, with the 10hp and 12ft-lbs of torque gain that these spacers provide, I would estimate that you should shave 2-3 tenths in the 1/4 mile. That is a conservative estimate. I don't want to give you optimistic estimates.

That's all I can find. When you go to the wheel shop to test fit some 15" wheels, please post on the org to let the world know what you found out.

It was a pleasure talking with you this morning about the spacers and slicks. You are a plethora of information and I will definately be ordering your product. Thanks for the time you gave me this morning and good luck on your lowering your Et's and 60'.

Thanks.

And just to follow up on my shortened nitrous line. I did successfully find a place that was able to cut and crimp a new fitting on my line. And I went ahead and put another fitting on the spare piece of hose just in case if I need it one day. They overcharged me $15 per fitting. But I was just happy to find a place in my area to do this job. I must have called about 10 places and wasted $20 in gas before I found this one.

I also put the bottle heater pressure switch before the bottle valve. Now the thermostat will turn the heater off even if the bottle is closed.

A 75 shot on the street is nuts in 1st gear! No matter how long I wait in 1st gear, it breaks lose the tires. But sometimes, the tires get just enough traction to accelerate at maximum potential for these street tires. Makes me think to myself, what other FWD car with street tires can possibly hang with me from 0-45mph?

I can't wait until I start tuning the 150 progressive shot! I hope to have all that tuned before the end of winter.

The pressure switch for the bottle heater? On the Dynotune 10lb bottle, there is one spot for the burst disc, then opposite of that, there is a spot for a bottle pressure gauge with 1/8" NPT threads. Well, I stuck a 1/8" NPT T-fitting with has two females and one male. I screwed in the male fitting into the bottle, then put on the pressure gauge and heater pressure switch.

Here's a pic:

That is a killer 60' on the 555s or any dr on a fwd first time at the track with my 6 gen ran a best of 15.4 with a 2.3 60' with 120 miles on the car (wanted to brake it in right) with no mods and never took it back love the car better than my 2002 6sd but that car was a hard runner and I got tired of a 6 sp for my daly driver think I will have to put the gas on this one and the micky tompsons off my gtp and take to the track

You've got some nice 1/4 mile times under your belt as well. Did you do 12s on street tires or slicks?

street tires it did a lot of spinning in the first 2 gears that was the best of three runs I did and I ran down a firehawk after I got going was tec for 14s had no helmet thay did not stop me on any of the runs to make me re-tec but on the last run I melted all three of the rear plugs on the back side of the motor (why could it be the frt three that I could get to) I guess that's not bad for that kind of a shot on that

Are you running a 1 or 2 step colder plugs or any octane boost or race gas with the 125 shot?

Yea im curious to know what octane you go with. Im planning to go to the track this coming Wednesday and I may try 75shot, Just not sure if i should try race gas for that.

Going to back to the track anytime soon Kevin?

With you having a turbo, I'd definitely get some race gas before attempting to spray the 75 shot the entire length of the 1/4 mile.

Octane Boosters don't help unless you dump in 5 or more bottles of it, and even then, they only help a little.

You need straight 100 octane unleaded in your car or better.

Tonight, I'm using 80% 110 leaded mixed with 20% 93 pump gas. I'm going to run an advanced timing program with my nitrous. So I can't have any detonation!
