Ran my modded 5.5 gen 6 speed

Well I ran my max which I haven't done since all of the mods that I have done which are in my sig. My best run was 13.855. I know my 60' times can use some work. I took out my sub and spare tire. I did run two other times but the scan didn't come through one of which was a 13.9 against an 08 G35 sedan AT that ran a 14.00-14.2 all night the other was a garbage mis-shift run. Everyone was surprised to see me in the 13's. It was about 68 that night and I was trying to work on launching which clearly still needs some work. I was launching around 2.5-3k but not really feathering the clutch enough. I was shifting around 7k on the stock tach which is a little off and 2nd gear shift squealed the tires a lot.

These are the tires I'm running which are brand new ZR rated http://hankooktireusa.com/product/tire_detail.asp?pid=7
I put 45 psi in the rear tires and 20 psi in the front for a few runs and and 25 for a few others.

Feel free to add any suggestions, I would like to be in the low 13's, w/ BBMAF. I am also still on a stock suspension which is my next territory and reason for poor 60' times.

Those are decent runs with those mods and 2.2 60'...get the 60' down to like a 2.0 and you might see 13.5

Damn those are pretty good times! 2.23 60ft is pretty good in a 5.5 6spd lol, if you can get that down to a 2.1 its very possible to hit a 13.5

I wish the local track here was still open

those 60's arent bad for street tires. sure you can get it lower but 2.2 isnt bad. nice runs too, you should get it tuned next...(TS l-spec doesnt count)

Nice times, the sixty foots aren't that bad, but keep working on them. Suspension might help, and/or tie the fronts/block the rears to help combat front end lift/rear weight transfer.

Stock tire size and it was tuned but not with cattman rear section which is actually noticeably better on top end. I'm going to install the BBMAF and tune should hit 13.4-13.6. Thanks dandy I definitely intend in doing that next time at the track. Are the spring blocks actually made for that specifically or are they something from home depot?

The best run I had the tires actually at 20 psi which I thought was a little low I was taking air out and talking at the same time so I ran one tire down to 20 unintentionally. I found a guy with a portable compressor and put them back up to 25 and couldn't get better than 2.29 60'.
