New PB 1/8th mile...7.82@93

I got the new slicks mounted and figured I would give them a try. I was spinning the 24.5x8's so bad that I figured I would step up to the 26x8.5's. I went with M&H instead of MT based on the recommendation of several others. Seems to be alot better, I only ran 3 times and the datalogs show that I still have some work to do on the launch, but I managed a 1.84, 1.87 and a 1.79 60 ft time on the 3 runs. The 26" slicks did hurt my mph a little over the 24.5" due to the shift close to the finish line and there was also a large headwind today, but its nice to be able to hook again. Better times to come.

The best was:
60ft 1.84
330ft 5.180
594ft 7.342
1/8th 7.825
mph 93.12

The datalog on the 1.79 run shows that I didn't go WOT until near redline in 1st and then shifted to 2nd and it bogged, so it was a slower time. All 3 passes today were 7.8x though.

Yeah, it sucks that the closest 1/4 track is almost 2 hours away, but I will be visiting it soon.

No EU, I am using a 4th gen JWT ecu programmed for the injectors/z32 maf.

I am happy with the tires, they are alot more consistent than the MT ever were.

Great numbers and excited to see that you will likely be the next 11-sec maxima. I am working on getting mine ready for the 1/4, hopefully I can keep up with you

Nice run with a decent 60' foot now. Will be cool to see 1/4 #'s once you get them. The M&H's are the way to go for sure, I've been happy with mine.

I think you'll be in the 11's also, and Mexi should be too.

It will be nice to see more 11 sec Maximas! We'll see how close I can get with an N/A 3.5 setup, if all goes as planned I may not be too far behind.

I wish I had been able to run more all-motor on the 3.5, it had alot more in it for sure. 1/4 mile numbers will be good when I go, I will launch even harder.

Those passes according to the logs I was riding the clutch through 1st gear even though I wasn't meaning to. I think the highest rpm I tried was around 3k with a quick dump, but then I wasn't going WOT until the top of first. I am so used to having to feather the throttle in first that I have to retrain my right foot to go to the floor when I dump the clutch now that I have traction. When I go to the 1/4 mile I am going to try to launch it hard, more rpms and WOT right away.
