Just curious, from the sticky, I was surprised and thought the 5th gen would be faster than the 4th gens because of the VQ30DE-K. Is it just weight? How much more does a 5th gen weigh than a 4th gen?

There was a great thread on which gen was the fastest <3,4,5> but i think the 5th gen came with bigger wheels as an option which slow it down. Inless the person has a Gxe 5th gen with the 15 inch stealies. Search for the article im pretty sure it said a 5th gen with 15s would be the fastest up top.
Weight varies a lot with Maximas depending on options but id say typically a 5th gen is about 200 pounds heavier than a 4th genner.

In terms of 1/4 miles

All are 5 speeds.

5th gen with steelies or 16s
4th gen with steelies or 16s/3rd gen
5th gen with 17s

In terms of trap speeds, yes. In terms of E.T.'s, not necessarily.

IMO, A32 = faster 1320. A33 = gaining / passing (higher trap) @ 1320+, 5MT & similarly modded of course.

But, unless there are timeslips in this thread, there is no conclusion.

But of course no one would ever be going faster on public roads than what they trap in the 1/4 (@ 1320+ comment)

pointless thread cause everyone's still bias to A32 or A33 after this discussion, my A32 felt faster but my A33 proved its faster, though my A32 has more potential...

<---My Stock 5th gen 5spd did 15.2. And that was with a broken rusted y pipe. After intake and cattman y pipe and catback ran 15.0.
Currently running about 14.8 in a 1/4 i dont rem my trap speeds sorry. I am still trying to figure out my emu tunning im running very LEAN for some reason. And my 60ft times are usually around 2.4 so i deff have room for improvement.
