Hoosier drag radials. The 12.60 was on 93 pump gas. The 103 was unleaded
gas. Not race fuel

Thanks!!
Tire combo was 225/50/16 hoosier drag radials on 16inch ssr comps
Before i was launching at 5krpm slipping the clutch. Sat and Sun i was revving to 3.5k and dumping the clutch since the track was hooking well.

Nice runs!

Time to get some big cams and some 15" wheels with a 26x8.5 slick.
Might get some 11 slips then!

Update sig! Also update your profile so it shows in the timeslip database. You should be in the top 10 somewhere.

Ok. I am definitely going 16" then for my drag wheels...this is DAMN impressive. All I need flywheel/clutch/wheels and a proper tune. Man, this is motivating. Well done!

Impressive times! Great job!

Makes me think what I can run with slicks when my race weight is 3200 lbs or less...

oh well, still want to add some coil-overs, 3" exhaust and few other stuff before I get some drag radials.

Awesome! The fastest NA Maxima record is currently 12.3, set by Jime, right? I'm shooting for 12 flat myself within the next month or so.

Oh ok. I am talking about the fastest NA Maxima, PERIOD. We have a few Maximas that seem to be capable of running low 12s, maybe even high 11s NA someday. Jime, of course, being one of them.

I feel if I do run faster than 12.3, that my record won't last long. Someone will dethrone me shortly after.

Did you run these ETs on Sunday? What is the time of day printed on your timeslip?

I looked up some quick info for Sunday afternoon. It was high 60s, 40% humidity, and the pressure was high at 30.29. Great conditions to race in!

MAXUS 09 had a density altitude of around 2400 feet. But this past Sunday, it was around 400 feet. That's about 4 tenths faster in the 1/4 mile just due to weather.

Edit: Is this a different car than you had at MAXUS 09? I see your best time at MAXUS was only high 13s. What have you done since then?

Aaron, it's the same car. If I remember correctly he had a broken shifter at maxus, and he was holding his shift on with zip ties.

I have seen his car run many times, and I know high 13's is slow for him. I saw his two fastest passes from this past weekend and I was surprised too, that he want that fast (e.t. and mph). Another thing to point out, I have never seen a track prepped that well. They were coming out between each heat and even during the heats spraying extra vht down and dragging the tires. Plenty of cars were breaking because they were hooking too hard at this event.

Oh yeah! I remember now! We met in the Quick 8 and he told me that I already won the race before it even started. He said he had to baby it just to get it to go in the next gear. That sucked.

A DA of 80' must be nice, relative HP of 104.7% compared to whatever normal is. Thats nuts. Its crazy when DA correction actually makes your time slower

Its the same car. I actually ran 13.1 right off the road and broke the shift bracket on that same pass. My car also won the N/A dyno pull with 278whp 272wtq
