Hoping for the third weekend in march for cam install. Dyno may wait a bit depending on when I get the V-manage. Will try my hardest to hit the track again before it gets too hot out, but worst case scenario I have the whole summer to get the car ready for low 12s in the fall.

James quite few people came up to me at the track and when discussing my car, several of them mentioned a black maxima tearing around town all the time sounding a little like mine. Now we know what's been happening to all those transmissions...
The guy who made this hilarious video even said he saw a black max that was beating 350zs.

I agree, have eaten quite a few of them, even fully bolted. Guess it's the extra drivetrain loss and weight, but they sure don't pull the same numbers that the maxima can with similar boltons.
My comment was more of an inside joke at James about a certain Z he raced.

Me too, seems like a bolt on 350z can't keep up with my intake/exhaust maxima.

I know my biggest struggle will be 2-3..... however the sound of the last shift was music

I found the best way to make the 2-3 shift is to use the centering device of the shifter and push forward. I also found to just use the palm of your hand. Don't use your thumb on the shifter, because that is what causes the shifter to move in another direction rather than where you want to go.
Works for me, worked for my friends too.
I honestly don't think the 1-2 shift is hard at all.

Powershifting is so much fun. The last few weeks I've done it a few times just for the thrill. Although I'm getting a new clutch, I've since stopped because it's clear the clutch is not the real victim...

Hey! Leave our torqueless Accords alone! Unless of course he has the 8G V6 6MT...that motor has torque and then some.
