04 6speed @ the track.

Went to the 1/8 again this Friday. These are the results for my 04 6 speed with SRI BOP Y-pipe and eBay catback. Fully loaded with Bose, heated seats 19's and sunroof. A little under half a tank of gas and no Spare/jack. Hankook Ventus street tires 235/45/19 @22 psi.

60 ft. 2.306
Speed. 60.00
330 ft. 6.155
Speed. 77.63
E.T. 9.328

The converted 1/4 mile time is 14.3-14.5 for 6 and 5.5 gens. Ther are some who have trapped 77.xx and run much faster but traction plays a role in that.

I wanted to get a solid baseline before Adding additional mods and getting 17 inch wheels/ drag radials. 80 degree weather and humidity doesn't help. Track is in between Miami and the Florida keys. I would love to get this into the 8's as it sits with some cooler weather and drag radials.

Heat sucks the life out of these things. I ran a 9.36 with only an intake when it was probably 60ish degrees. Went back after I added a y-pipe and vias block off and best I could get was 9.5's - 9.6s when it was 85-90 degrees outside. You should be able to get a tenth off the 60 foot with a little practice and on a nice cool evening you could flirt with 8's but I think you'll need better tires to get into the 8's as is.

Yea im searching for a lightweight 17' wheel and tire combo. If i can get a 2.0-2.1 sixty foot(easy on d/r's Or slicks) on a 60 degree night it should do it. Also my clutch was acting up. Planning on upgrading that as well.

Not bad. I went to the 1/8. Trying to get my launching right. It was about 90 degrees out. I't funny how on the street shifting into second you chirp but on track you have to learn to manage spin. (Plus my tires aren't that grippy)

We have pretty much same mods except I don't have exhaust.

60' 2.38
330 6.36
1/8 9.49
mph 77.69
