Loss of Power since major oil leak ....
I have experienced a significant loss of power since the major oil leaks that I had...
All of the major engine seals for oil had to be replaced including sealing the oil pan.
The oil leak stopped but I noticed a loss of power.
The car doesn't have the pickup that it used to have even though it still drives.
I can hear the valves clicking sometimes when I drive when the car doesn't
have enough pickup.
Any ideas ?

Well, it depends. What kink of a loss of power? Clicking valves are never good. You may have lost all lubrication in the heads. Did the oil dump out while it was running? You may have burned out the oil pump. Is the engine missing at all? Or does it still sound good, just no power?

A lot of oil did dump out, and the pcv valve got
clogged and had to be replaced in addition to the
engine seals.
There was oil leaking like a stream.
The oil pressure gauge in the car doesn't register
like it used to....a lot lower actually after the
car gets warmed up and it wasn't like that before
the oil leak.
The engine runs okay but just seems to strain
for power no matter how hard you hit the gas
pedal. After a while you get a response and the
rpm's rise as opposed to before when I used to get
instant response from the gas pedal.
What is the oil pump ?
what's the price of one ?
what's involved in replacing it ?
At first I thought it could be my distributor
since the cable going from it to the ignition coil
got cut and there was a loud pop. A new cable
fixed that but I still wondered if anything got
damaged. I replaced the ignition coil but it
didn't seem to change anything.
thanks...

sounds to me like the pickup gasket is leaking, so its sucking in air and areating the oil. Mabye possibly creating valvetrain noise, Id pull the pan and clean and replace the gaskets. Oil pumps generally run under $100, they are really simple things, its really just a gear rotor pump.
Check the oil pickup for cracks, never know, ive seen them crack before
