YOu need to find another "nissan person" cause that one sucks!

The tps is only there to make the car run a bit leaner at idle..thus it does better at emissions testing at idle.

It is the black box on the side of the TB.

To set it...
warm up the engine.
pull the harness to the tps.
have a friend hold the gas pedal or throttle linkage to 200-300 above idle speed.
loosen the hold down screws on the TPS. Roll it down.
Then put an ohmmeter on the bottom 2 terminals.
you should not have continuity at that time. Roll it upwards till you just get continuity and snug it down in place.

What this does...it lets the car run a bit lean at idle. WHen you hit the gas to go, it will at 200-300 over idle, change the air/fuel mix.

Often, the tps needing adjustment causes a hesitation problem, as the a/f mix changes at the wrong point, giving a slight stutter.
