my 87 nissan maxima recently has had problems where the highbeams on the main front bulbs dont go on and i KNOW its not the bulb. what could cause this and how can i fix it?

also there are 2 side lights in front of the blinkers. do those EVER come on? i need wiring diagrams or something to check and see if there is a short somewhere.

all bulbs have been replaced but im still stumped.

thanks

The side lights only come one when you make a turn

When oyu put your turn signal on it lights up the corner for you for better vision when turning. They sow the road better than my headlights. So I am going ot re wire them to my parking lights and Have them on all the time for better visibility. My head light Housing sucks. Regardless of whether the High beams are on or not. My moms low beams are bright er than mine. Of course she has a Volvo. But I still cant see the road. I went to a junk yard and they were going ot charge me $75 dollars for one headlight Housing. Yeah right. For $55 more I can get a brand new one from Courtesy Nissan in Texas. Why are Headlight assemblies so doggone expensive?

headlight

this my be a given but did you check your fuse box. IN my 88 maxima there are fuses just the the corner lights, Also getting new lighting asemblies is comppletly retarded. Just buy a pair of hyper white or xenon blue bulbs, 9004, for like 20 dollars. go on ebay and type in "maxima 9004" Thats what i put in my car and I see everything 3x as bright.
