More problems with my exhaust then I though

Well, the hole in my muffler isn't the only problem. The B-pipe section of my exhaust has rust spots all over, and there is over a 7 or 8 small hole in it already, with a dozen more starting to form. It's wierd because my car isn't that loud until I bottom out the rear end of the car. I wanted to go with 2.5" mandrel bend pipe, but at the moment, I can't afford it (about $225 for pipe alone if I remember right from what I got quoted a while back). So this is what I might end up doing. Right now, to replace my muffler, an the pipe (2"), it will cost $170, then add about $40 bucks for a 2.25" stainless steel chrome tip angle cut (if I go with that tip). Warranty was voided from when I bottom out the car at Winchell's. What I will probably do is go that route, with though I might get the dual output muffler like the 87-88 have, but I will cut the notch out in the sheet metal under the car. I will probaby go with that. Then what I will do is get a complete custom exhaust (2.5", mandrel bent, high flow cat, etc) that will bolt on to the down pipe, which I can swap back and forth as a I please.

I just went the cheapo route on my replacement muffler, $20 muffler, $35 install. My previous one had a lifetime warranty as are these but lost my receipt. They did try to sell me new pipes, showed me how thin they were getting by squeezing them with a pair of channel-locks. No thanks will wait for them to rust thru.

I was thinking to buy these from Ebay but maybe they would be too loud. They sure look nice, maybe last forever since they're SS. These are sold but I always see them for sale.

Yeah, but mine actually has holes in it. One which has been slowly getting more noticeable from sound. I was just unable to get under the car and pin point it. Either way I'm gonna go ahead and replace it.
