---------------------------------------------------------------------your car is nice but you might need to do a little more research on your car before you start bragging about it, because, if my memory serves me correctly, 85-88 was the first gneration NOT the second generation!! i do believe i should know, i have an 88.

LOL! I was thinking....ummmmm...right. :P I wrote him back and dispproving what he said...it outta be interesting what his response is!

I also asked him a question, just to see if he really knows what he's talking about. I asked him if the 2nd gens share a platform, and if so, with what cars. :P This outta be interesting, since I haven't "done my research". :P

This is what he wrote on sonystyle's page when he replied to this guys message on his page.

hey you r correct my friend but there by technicality the first generation was 85-88 because when nissan started selling cars in the US they were Datson until they found out their cars were a good seller which then they changed the name to their actual name which is now nissan. this now meaning that from 81-84 the so called first generation maximas were really the 810 series cars, thus meaning we r both right.
thanx talk to ya later,
Zeke
(ps) nice car!!

Boy we outta give him a big wakeup call.
