I picked up my 85 maxima wagon gl tonight! It's so nice, very well taken care of, 137k miles for $1700. Anyway, I was wondering if there were any pictures out and about of 1st/2nd gen wagons with tinted windows. I would like to get it done, but I don't want it to look goofy.

I own an 87, but the windows aren't tinted...and I've never seen one done, either...however, the look will depend upon the color of the car to begin with...mine is the classic silver, so I can go dark, limo tint, and it'll still look ok...as long as I don't choose any funky colors...

 

There is an amazingly prestine 1st gen wagon a few streets away from my place that has the mirror like tinting on it (looks to be 35%). The car is immaculate too! I never seen a 1st gen that looked that nice.

I don't have the wagon but I do have an 85 Maxi with tinted winows. I can send you a link to some pictures of it, I have some in my profile but can get you better ones if you are interested. I have a brown Maxi and went with a bronze tint and everyone has commented on how great it looks. It also helps in the summer to keep the heat out and at night so I can ride by incognito (especially when I have a lady friend in the car...)
