ok this is another one of those stupid irritating things....one of the rubber stoppers for the hood that screw into the frame and keep the hood level with the fenders and keep it from flopping arround, crumbled into about oh....a billion peices....now on the left front corner my hoods floppin arround and chipping what paint isnt chipped over there so i need a temp fix...
i'm at a loss i dont know what to use....all my ideas have either been too small or dont stay in place (like a wad of duct tape)
any of you have any ideas?
next weekend i'm hitting a scrap yard for some pars (mostly A/C parts) so i can try to salvage one out there but i need something soon (like when i wake up its 3 am now)

I don't know but mine are shot too...they totally disintegrated and now the hood sits lower than the fenders when it's closed....looks ugly. I think that after time they just wear out. as for replacements, I'm not sure but you might be able to get universal ones from an auto parts store, or maybe you have to go to a Nissan dealer.....

I think everyones is. My passenger side one was shot so I just took it out. Im sure you could go to a junkyard and find them and well... not pay to get it. But uh yeah they should be there good luck finding ones in good condition
i was thinkin if i "aquire" them fron a junk yard i'd i donnot...rejuvinate them with some sort of silicone moisturiser for rubber gaskets and such.....i still have a right side though mabe it should try saving it before it goes too....
what about the rubber stops for the trunk?....its a more ridgid structure
