Gas smell after running
well if your having gas smell after you go runnin, I would suggest maybe something like gas-x or some kind of anti-bloating agent! 
It could also be that your sweating so much that the BO is a bit overwhelming.

Gentlemen,
The humor is appreciated. I am glad to take my lumps as a new poster. However, the problem remains: When parking the car after running (the car, not me) there is a significant smell of unburnt fuel. I had a 92 Max with the same problem though not as severe. There are no visible leaks along the fuel lines or in engine compartment. Anyone else experience this problem? Any possible solutions? Thanks.

Hmmmm, I would look at the fuel injectors, see if they are leaking. Is there a noticable smell of unburnt fuel while the car is running? Also has your car underwent the fuel injector recall? Back a little while ago there was a recall done because the fuel injectors would leak and cause engine fires. You may want to check into that.

Check the vent hose between the fuel filler neck and the gas tank. I had a leak in my 87 that was more noticeable when the tank was full. It's about 1/2" diameter hose about 1 foot long. It's got a couple of bends in it, so you can't just use a piece of regular fuel hose, it would kink. I got it from the dealer; it was a little more expensive than I thought it would have been, but it fixed the problem. Look for signs of staining on the hose, I never really saw it dripping, but it leaked enough that you could smell it, especially if you were back near the fuel filler door area.

Check your charcoal canister. Our Max’s have a system that traps fuel vapor generated during idle and then feeds it back into the engine while you run. If the canister is bad or any of the lines running to, or from it are bad this might cause your problem.
The canister is under the fuse box that’s next to the battery.
