leaking power steering fluid... again...

Yeah. I'm leaking power steering fluid again. I really should put a drip pan under my car so my driveway doesn't turn into one big spot. It can't be from the rack and pinion I don't think because I just had that replaced fairly recently. Anyone have any ideas where it could be leaking, and how I can stop it?

There aren't too many places it could be leaking from. You've got a hose from the reservoir to the pump and a hose from the pump to the rack and a return hose from the rack to the reservoir. Everything else is part of the rack. You need to clean it off and see if you can tell where it gets wet first. If you're lucky, it may be a loose hose clamp or banjo bolt seal.

If you just had the rack replaced, could you take it back to them and get it checked?

Yeah I could do that. I'll have to talk to my dad about it tomorrow.

I would double check your connects. They are usually the first thing that leaks. Plus if they didn't tighten a banjo bolt correctly, it will leak like a ****.
