cheap little improvements for the engine...

ok say i have waytoo much time on my hand because i have no job and such....is there any little engine tweaking i can do to improve things a bit...preferably low cost (like the regulator fix...where is that by the way?)

If you're talking about the air regulator fix...

As for peformance, with no cost, the best thing would be to bump your timing up a little. If you're an auto (i can't remember if yours was), then you don't want to exceed 24 degrees, but you need to be able to run 93 octane or higher to maintain that time...best thing would be to take a timing gun, fill the tank with premium, and then bump the car up one degree at a time, until you hear it ping, then back it off one or two degrees. Do this while road testing it, as the car may not ping at idle, but could at speed, or while pulling a hill...
