ok the other day i was going over my plastics and rubber stuff with something to clean off the crap and make it look black again (door seals and truink seal was pretty bad) and when iwas doing my trunk i noticed that the edge of the lid...behind the black plastic trim peice there are little holes of rust...i'm not to worried about it because a trunk lid is a easily replaceable/worked on peice but how do i keep it from getting worse untill next summer when i'll have more money and i can fix it with out having the weather going bad on me?

i assume its water getting trapped behind the black trim peice...
