The driver's side rear door on my 86 wagon is getting tougher and tougher to open.

I have to pull on the door handle just right to get it to open.

Has anyone repaired the door handle rods before?

I'm thinking that there is a plastic clip that has gone bad.

good possibility...could also be a spring or clip in the handle itself - i have a similiar problem with the handle on the liftgate on my wagon...and that is a broken spring in the handle assembly...
