Callin' all BAY AREA 2nd gen owners!!!
I'm looking for some spare parts for my 86 Max GL. I need a new right front fender and some other miscellanious stuff. Y'all know of some junkyards or pick-a-part spots that I can check out in the Bay Area? I know I probably won't find exact color matches (2tone silver...dark on top, light on bottom) but hey, I might get lucky.
Good looks on all the help!!!

What other miscellaneous parts you need. I might have them for you. I have the right front fender, however it's damaged, but it can probably be hammered out. It's also dark red metallic. I have some of the body parts you may need.

I haven't banged out dents before, but I'm betting it's easiest to do if you take the fender off. I got lucky and found a fender that is pretty much the same color, though it seems to be a little darker. A rubber mallet should work, though after you hammer out the dent, there may still be a ding. You can then probably fill it and paint over it. Paintscratch.com can match your paint pretty much perfectly.

it will depend upon the dent as to what you'll need to properly hammer it out. If it's a large, simple dent, or a shallow crease, then a rubber mallet may work, but you'll need something to back up the other side. If not, then you'll want to buy, borrow or rent a set of body hammers, dollys and spoons, to properly hammer it back out to a reasonable point, then use the absolute minimum amount of filler to smooth out any rough points. Only use the filler to smooth out rough spots that you cannot pull and/or hammer out. If you're going to hammer it, it will likely be easiest to pull the fender. If you're going to pull it, leave it on the car...
I've done some very basic body work in the past, due to having a car that seemed to be a magnet to other cars...I had 4 accidents in that car, and none were my fault, which the police confirmed.

Yeah, it's a decent dent w/a slight crease. I was thinking of pulling the fender off and trying to bang it out. Looks like it should come out fine because it wasn't a major incident (a pick nicked me trying to park in a lot).
