hey guys, its been a while since i posted. i'm having a problem with an 88 maxima (auto trans) it runs fine in neutral and park, but as soon as it goes into drive or reverse it immediately dies, you don't even have time to tap the gas to keep it running. its not a cold start issue, because even if you let it warm up to normal temp, and do it it still dies. i wanted to search, but we can't lol. so i'm forced to ask a question that possibly could have been asked a million times. so sorry in advance. what do you think it is? i found the post about the Air Regulator Repair but i'm not srue that this is the cause of his problem, what do you folks think?

When you are able to get it to drive, how does it drive? Does it hesistate a lot? Have you tried pulling codes from the ECU? I sounds like you may have a vacuum leak or possible an induction leak. I'd help to know if your car is throwing codes though.
