brake problem

I am having a problem with my brakes. When i hit them only the front will grab if i just push them down but if i pump them a couple times they all grab just fine.Is this a problem in my master ? It isn't leaking any fluids.Any ideas would be great here.

Thanks,
Keith

I check all your lines and make sure they aren't leaking. Might want to check all your calipers too and make sure they are binding or what not. Are you loosing any fluid?

First thoughts would be either the rear calipers, or the master cyl. The F/R bias pressure regulator is built into ours. I'd check the rubber lines at each wheel, and then maybe rebuilding the M/C...calipers would be the last resort...an M/C rebuild kit should opnly be a couple of bucks...

Like the posts above mentioned, check all calipers and brake
linings. If your fluid is down and you can't find a leak anywhere,
your master cylinder could be leaking into your brake booster.

This is what happened to my Max just recently, a remaned
MC was only like $35 with a $20 core and a lifetime warranty.

If you have to replace the MC, make sure you bench bleed it
first, the MC will have instructions on how to do this with it.

Good Luck!
Scott
