Engine Cradle

I've never looked that close under my car... do our cars have
a removable engine cradle?

If so, there's got to be subframe bushings that wear out and
could/should be replaced (with poly bushings preferably).

We have the crossbar that supports the engine. That could be thought of as a cradle. In fact when most people pull the engines from these cars, they often unbolt that and drop the engine from under the car.

But is there a front subframe? Like one would find on a Nova,
Camaro, or Mustang?

Just curious if there might be subframe bushings to replace.

Thanks!

I don't think there is. I really don't pay attention when I'm under the car! :P

nope...i haven't seen any sub-frame bushings at all...the trusses for the control arms are glued and then bolted into place, like a door hinge...the cross-member just bolts directly to the chassis...no bushings...
