I can get the locks to go up but the handle on the inside and the outside will still not allow me to enter the car is their any advice someone here could possibly give me to fix this problem. thank you traxel2

only thing I can tell you is... take off the door panels and make sure the linkage is intact. I had a problem with my 88 SE with the power locks not unlocking, but I didn't have the keyless entry. turns out, there was a set of contacts on the door handle itself that closed a circuit when you turned the key to unlock, which sent a signal to the power lock relay to unlock the doors... the contacts were worn out. when I turned the key to lock, all doors would lock. but when I turned to unlock, only the drivers side door unlocked, and the security system didn't disarm.

but maybe your doors aren't unlocking completely? it seems kind of strange that you have this problem on more than one door.

sorry I can't help very much.

First though I get is the same as Dan's. The linkage is probably goofed up. Should definately pull the panel to see what's going on.

wow, I feel smrt.

if my memory serves me, some parts of the linkage are held together with plastic pieces. I'm not sure though, if that's for the door handle or the lock. but you might wanna check them out and make sure nothing's bent or busted.
