I wonder if I should post what he posted on yahoo. It's the funniest thing. But that be going OT though. He labels anyone that uses both the 2nd gen group on yahoo and the org a traitor. That's pretty funny ****! He's trying to get me banned over there! Guy sure harvests a bunch of anger, just from being on the internet!

Where is the second gen yahoo forum? I never knew about that. Is it any other people or all the same people from the .org?

Okay
So the reset ECU hasn't made a huge difference.
Before I reset it I could do a burnout(IN BLACK EXHAUST). Now it dosen't smoke as much still there is a little black smoke and the back of the car is getting blacker. Next goes the FPR and Sensor.
I'll keep you posted!

http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/...nnissanmaxima/ is the URL. There are quite a few org members there, and quite a few that aren't.

Retro is in. I would think that a 1st gen Max fixed up to the hilt would be way more original/eye catching then another 01 Max driving down the road. Guess you didnt see the new Super Street with the '75 Celica???? SWEEEET!

For yah'll who have access to the yahoo site goto (88 gxe) to see what my car looked like after a week of driving it rich.

And the pic Maxima2 was done by a friend of mine, when I first saw it I almost pee'd on myself. It was that funny!!!

Is your car running right yet? How do the plugs look? All look bad? Only some?? If only some look bad, it might be leaky injectors/injector 0-rings? Can you swap ecus with someone?

The new 02 is in already(still running rich). Haven't looked at the plugs but can imagine. I'll probably switch them tomorrow. I don't think that it's the injectors the were replaced with the original recall. I don't have access to another ECU, but when I goto the junk yard I'll look for one.

Here's my last half-A$$ed atempt to get the quick fix. Im checking the CHTS tonight! I bet it's gone bad, that's the only sensor that make for such a rich condition.

If you want to see pics of my black car goto the yahoo 2nd gen group page it's under 88 GXE(Black)

Running rich sux for my bumper!

Bingo!!!
The harness for the CHTS is hanging off. It's not even connected to the sensor it's barely touching it. I think I could just plug it in if I could reach it. N E one done this? Know any tricks?
The chilton has a long painfully descriptive and seemingly overdone method to get to the sensor.

Cylinder Head Temp Sensor, wow the harness is just dangling? I wonder if the harness is bad. Replace it/rehook it up and see what happens.
