Simple 1st Gen Question
Like the title says, anybody know the curb weight of an 84' Max Sedan? (Without passengers...) I checked the door jam and it says 3800, is that under full load though? Thanks guys!

I think that's the weight of the car when it's full loaded. 3800lbs is too high.

According to the 1st and 2nd gen FAQ, it's 2880lbs.

That's true. It is 2880 unloaded. But the maxims is claimed to hold 900 pds (people and/or luggage), so around 3800, loaded sounds about right:} (2880 +900)

the heaviest 4cyl 910 is almost 2541 Lb
and japanese models are around the 2200 Lb mark.

Took my 88 for smog check
The paper says it weighs 3500lbs!
Is that under full load?

Yes, fully loaded, the car is somewhere around 3050-3150 IIRC.
