Did a little more troubleshooting today.

I did a couple things. First pulled the distributor cap and cranked
the motor. That's fine, so the belt didn't break. Next thing I
notice is when and turned the ignition on, the fuel pump didn't
prime. So I check the fuses, and all is good. So I went and checked
the ECU for codes. Turn the ignition on, and turned the mode screw
to fully clockwise. The LED's did not turn on. So I turn it back to
fully counter clockwise, and clockwise again. Nothing. So maybe my
CAS isn't bad. So next thing to test is to replace the ECU. Anyone
have pefereably a lead on an 86 ECU, or maybe even an 85 ECU. I
don't think an 87-88 will work considering the different
programs...I wouldn't be surprised if the pinout is different.

I thought you got that shady ecu guy to make a performance ECU? Goodluck, and like anything else I can always check my junkyard...but I think you have second gens in the bone yard out your way.

$30 for the 300Z ECU

$10 for the 87 ECU - it was in a wrecked car (not mine), so the
case is a little bent on one side

Both are + shipping...

Sure, if you don't mind that the 87 ECU is missing a top cover (it was
too bent up), the 86 300Z ECU is mint.
