I need a driver side fender!!

If anyone has a driver side fender please give me a call....lets just say mine got messed up. I would prefer if it were already the same color as my 87se but at this point I may take anything...my car can be seen on my cardomain page it is the dark grey color. I will not be able to get online regularly until Jan. 3rd....so if you could please call me if you have this....I need the fender bad....this is the only car I have insurace on right now. Well I am off to see if any junkyards are open on christmas eve....please call me at 434-996-4271 if you can help. Thanks.

-Carson

*mods please don't move this, I think most second gen owners do not check the for sale/wtb forum that often.

87/88's had a more slanted front end and the orange corner marker is straight up and down.

i would have been able to get one from a yard how ever the yard i went to crushed or got rid of almost all the maximas excpet a 92

ok, I needed a new fender because my wheel fell off while I was driving....I knew something was wrong so I was going really slow and I was almost back to my house so I just tried to make it, with out getting out of the car. So at about 20 mph my driver side wheel flew off and my 87 slamed the front/left side of the car onto the roter. So now I have a new fender(junkyard fender with some dents) that is not the right color. The wheel that flew off hit another car and was bent....so when I took my wheels back on warranty the following day I could only exchange three of them rather than four because of the one bent one. The wheels that I had on the car have been discontinued so I had to pick something else (no pics yet). Anyway thats how I spent my holiday's....I did drive the car for several days with no driverside fender.....the second gen was looking pretty wild with an exposed cold air pipe running out of the engine bay to behind my front wheel

I got three wheels new on warranty, and I had to buy the other one. As far as who took the wheels off the car last I don't remember for sure, but I am guessing it was user error on my part....with those wheels I some times had problems with them seating while tightening the lugs, so I am guessing I thought they were tight but in actuality on wheel was bound on the lugs and a few bumps freed it up then worked its was loose. I knew something was wrong with the car I was just trying to limp it home so I would not have to pull over in the middle of the night to see what the problem was...I was about half a mile from my house when it happened. The wierd thing is I knew I was having a rotational noise problem the day before and I thought the bearing or axle was going out.....so I jacked that side of the car up and pushed and pulled on that wheel/tire and nothing would move so I figured the problem was being caused by an axle.....I don't know if I had a faulty wheel or it was strictly user error, because I could not move the wheel when it was in the air.....but when my car was sitting on the roter in the middle of the road there were defintly no lug nuts on that wheel and most of the threads were intact.....who knows.....just another day

Jesus........I had a near death experience on the freeway a couple weeks ago when the driver side wheel flew off a van. The wheel took a bounce right over my hood, inches from the windshield.....at freaking 70. Scared me ****less.....then the van almost hit me as the guy tried to gain control.
