tranny?

Depends on which tranny your talking about.....it's it's an automatic....your dreaming.
For the 5-speed yes it will. In-fact, my car has a 89 5-speed in it. It's almost bolt on, except for the speed sensor, reverse harness, shift linkage, and on the 3rd gen, a place for a 3rd mount. That stuff is just a swap of parts....so you don't really need to do any modification.

Physically you might be able to get it to work. But as far as the electronics are concern, they are 2 very different deals. The 3rd gen auto tranny has a feature that with a flick of a switch you can change the shift points from a sport mode to a comfort mode (though I've never been able to distinguish the difference). But the time and headache to get that to all work will be great.

Quests of the same year dont have that sport thing but the transmission is odd as it is, it may be do able with more fabrication than modification.
the plus to the quest transmission is the pan is in the front and easy to replace (along with the filter)

Quite possibly....but I'm pretty sure there would still be some differences in the A/T computer. Unless you converting to 5-speed, or with a like generation tranny....I still wouldn't recommend it.
