Anyone have a 1st Gen without a Sunroof?
I'm looking for pictures of the spotlight on the ceiling... the spotlights were in front between the visors on Maximas without sunroofs.

I'm interested in the original location and size of the unit. I want to see if I can fit one on my '84 w/ sunroof because the front lighting is fairly poor at night.

The spotlight is a nice size one. I don't know if you're going to have the room to install one. The spotlight is near where the windshield and top of the roof meet, I believe not to far from the inside rear view mirror. If you were to install one, with your sunroof, you'd probably have to hook it up on the roof either near the driver of passenger seats. You wouldn't want the sunroof to damage it when you'd open and close it. Good luck to you, if you want to give it a shot.
I have a 1982 Maxima diesel sedan without a sunroof. I guess if the car is rare without one, then one that is diesel is even rarer. I am selling the car and it will be picked up by the buyer in 2-3 weeks. But it is not in the best shape body wise, so I want to try to find another diesel that is in good cosmetic shape.

To Big E-Dog's question:
The 240sx TB conversion is designed for 1st gen Maximas and other L6 fuel injected engines.
Basically, the intake has to be port matched to the TB (as described on my webpage), and a tube to connect the larger TB to the AFM will have to be installed (I dont have these being molded yet). Sometimes the stock tube will be able to stretch over the larger TB, but that depends on the quality of the 20 year old rubber.
