Ugh, My Max i really messed up now
As I posted a few weeks back, my tranny went bad and I lost first gear. Now as a result of driving around without first gear I broke my axle shaft! It looks real nice with 3 coats of wax sitting in my driveway but it looks like this is it for the maxima. The list of problems goes on forever sadly enough and it just doesnt look like it car be saved for its worth. So what should I do: fix the tranny and axle and try and sell it? Part it out as much as possible? Or just scrap it and sell it to a junk yard?
Anyone interested in a K&N panel filter or unorthodox racing underdrive pulley for the 85-88 max, drop me a line.

I had a 85 Maxima and loved it, til the engine caught fire after about 150,000 miles. I had a gas leak which supposedly was common on 85's. If you think can fix it relatively cheap and get a good deal on it, I would sell. Otherwise sell it as it is and save the money towards the 2003 Maxima
Does anyone know how much I should expect from a junkyard? Is there anything I should take off the car before junking it (besides the mods)? Like what about the electronic shocks, with 120,000 miles are they worth anything to anyone or will the junkyard pay me more if I leave them on?
