212325 miles. Motor has gone through a fail tranny, 2 bad chts, a busted timing belt, bad engine mounts, and still kicks butt.

My bumper use to look decent. Then it got kissed by a ford expedition. The guy driving it was a moron, weaving in out of traffic on surface streets. When I had to stop, he didn't react fast enough.

Q, check out the 2nd gen forums. I finally got pics of the RSB endlinks (dude I'm so sorry for taking so long).

That is a good chunk of the turbo kit. I don't know if you guys noticed, but the IM is the honed out version.

Sweet Sarin!!! When you get a chance check out the pics in the Northeastern section of the meet this weekend. The first guy that post pics has pics of a turbo second gen that showed up....it looks really good IMO. When you check it out let me know what kinda set up he has...his manifold neck is pointing towards the passenger side fender?

Looks like he might be intercooled? Looks like he reversed the IM. All I can say is that is a pretty nice 2nd gen. Never seen chameleon paint on our cars before either.

Are you just going to bolt the turbo system on? Or, are you doing a engine build-up?
I would look at www.zcar.com for tips and tricks.

I also found this:
http://www.lumiere.net/pipermail/max...ly/012056.html

It has a little info on the subject, but is interesting anyway.

For now, just bolt on. I'm not looking for a huge amount of boost....about 8psi. I've worked on a S/C 4th gen that's running 12-13 psi, 10.1cr, and stock internals...I'm pretty sure I can make a 9.1cr motor run on 8psi pretty easily. It's all in the tuning. Either way thanks for the links, I'll definately look through them.

i have a question about the bolt on... i see in the pictire that you have the intake plentium, the exaust manifold, injectors, turbo, MAF, and some cables is that all one would need to do a turbo setup? do i really need the intake plentium off of a 300zx? i see you dont have the ECU in the pic i guesing that you would need that also? and what do you mean by tuning is it really extensive? just asking a few questions before i go to the yard and tear apart a one of those motors and strip it for what its got a complete engine swap would be too extreneous for me. also would changing the heads help with breathing with the turbo setup?

You don't need a 300zx plenum. The thing is mine is an engloid style plenum. You look inside, there aren't any runners. I do have a Z31 N/A ECU. I'm still debating if I want to use it or not since I can tune the car either way.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do about intercooling yet. I don't wanna slap this huge FMIC, but I know I want to intercool.

Yeah, I thought about that. Space is the problem up front however. But I'll figure something out.
