Digital dash

I was wondering how many of you have a digital dash and why some cars have it and some don't?

It was an option for top of the line GL and GXE models.

my car is an 86 GLE. It has digital dash, drive comp, etc. It is only on the GLE and GL I think. One way you can tell is also looking at the paintjob (SE didn't come in two tone, GL and GLE did)

I have the digital dash and the paint is all one color.

if it is an 87 or 88 the color scheme might be different. For the 85 and 86 I think the only ones who came with those amenities were the GL and GLE, which came in two-tone from the factory(maybe your car has been repainted)

My car is an 86 and nothing has been changed from the time that it was purchased.

If thats the case then it was probably just a luxury model bought in a single tone color. one of the few as far as I know

do they have leather seats and such. I think the two tone ones might have been the high end luxury models. Mine is two tone and has all the amenities that came that year (leather seats, digital dash, digital A/C, Power seats, Keyless entry, etc.)

The Yellow one has cloth seats...and has ALL the top other options...
The Brown one has Leather seats and ALL the other top end options also...

Both are automatic with overdrive..and original paint....

Bought the yellow one NEW in Ft. Worth Texas....and the brown one from my brother...who bought is NEW in Hawaii.....

they have digital dsah replacements on ebay. about 20 bucks.

Yes I have leather seats and power everything overdrive keyless entry everything.

I had an 84 1st gen with digidash. I really have to say i was not a big fan of it, but it was kind of cool. Wish it had looked more like the Z31 digidash.
