Muffler inlet

Hey in our maximas is the inlet 2.5?I need to know asap so I can buy 1 from ebay...

2" I believe, 2.25" at most.

I would say 2" at most. When I went with an aftermarket muffler I got a 2.25" inlet and that was bigger than stock.

ok..all i found was universal 2.50.and it said for maximas..but im guessing it was a newer max..

no maxima's have 2.5" stock muffler inlets. It can fit your car, it just needs to be welded on with a reducer fitting...thats all no biggie. If you want it a muffler shop can make it fit. Post the link, so we can make sure.

Let a muffler shop do it. Its not expensive. Just make sure you get a good reputable one.

all yeah there is a muffler shop thats gonna put it on.Cuz they have to put a new pipe on...is there any kind of special pipe i need?

What pipe? A muffler shop can bend whatever pipe you need. Just make sure they will put an aftermarket muffler on for you. I know some shops around here are weird about putting on customer parts.

no he said $90 to run new exhaust pipe and install the muffler,$80 for the muffler.Cuz the muffler im getting is a magnaflow.

yeah he said on maximas since they have V-6's in em he said magna flow was the way to go...
