Only paid 250 bucks off of ebay since they are being discontinued. Couldnt beat that deal. Also, plans are in for an RSB, CAI and maybe a Y-pipe, lowering springs and Im not decided on the illuminas or AGX's. Hopefully within the next month or two. If not, then more close to Maxus 06.
you and your discontinued rims If you do put 17's on you will need to slam it quickly unless you are going to get tires that have a decent side wall on them. My friend had some 17's with 205/40/17's....lets just say it looked really bad.

I know right. I cant get enough of them. These were actually one of the ones I was considering. I know Im going to need to drop it quick because it will definately look weird. Im going to go with either the S-techs or the tokico springs. I rode in Dubbya's maxima at Maxus 05 and with the illuminas and the tokico springs it rode nice. I wanted an even look but I like the raked look of the S-techs. I am probably going to go with 215 or 225/45's or 50's for tires. I should be receiving the rims this Tuesday or Wednesday. After this though, I will be broke. Shipping was like another 130 for them. Cant wait though

H&R's baby! I love them in 4th gens. But Carson is right...the lower profile tires is going to make that stock gap appear even bigger. You have any pics of the rims?

BTW those are Halo H3 3000k HID's in my fogs. The headlights are Philips D2R's, 4300k. All I can say is these lights kick ***. I drove the car in pouring rain the other day...and all I can say was wow! You can get the kick for about $285 from a guy name the underlord on the volvospeed forums. It was well worth the investment...but I'd say get HID headlights first. Now I need rims for the volvo. Thinking about getting a set of 17" Volans which look like so:

I love how Volvo has a crapload of OEM wheels. I'm still deciding on the charcoal color, or the silver my stock rims are now.

no, volvo=brick

theres a early 80's late 70's turbo intercooled 240 wagon down the street for sale, been thinkin about buyin it.

the older volvos up untill about 92 used pretty muchn the same stuff and are a breese to work on, turbo ones from what i read had magnesium valves to prevent melting

wonder why it was needed to have mangesium valves in the first place, wouldnt think it'd be that hot.

should i buy it? its a pile.

I dunno, talking about volvo's seems much better than talking about putting a jet-fighter wing on.

I agree. Wholeheartedly.

I could go on and on about reasons concerning how this would actually hurt your performance more than help it, but I won't bore you with aerodynamic equations.

tail.

If I put any thing on my max I would bolt on a small aluminum NASCAR tail.It would function alot better than a heavy fiberglass thing!
