Complications Of An 87 Nissan Maxima

1. i have this startup problem itl go...click,......rummm,...ruu..mm,..ru
but then i attach a charge pack to it it starts and runs all fine until i turn it off..
i think its an alternator??

2. im missing buttons: trunk, shock control.

3. one of my struts are dead in the front unless there is a way to fix it with the button

4. i have to adjust the trunk to open

5. i have no high beams in my projector setup (could be grounding problem)

6. i got an 87 300zx automatic ecu and it dosent work dont kno why? will get another one to see whatl happen. updates soon to come 300zx maf wont work as well, maybe because of the ecu.

7. got a "different" not new muffler from the yard its a ricer one i didnt bring the say to remove the magnaflow dual exaust one....

8. gotta install the stereo almost there just gotta plug it up

9. why does the 87 need the hose from the crankcase and the 85 dont?? i kno theyre the same engines but with small adjustments but what does the crankcase put out on the 87 that it dosent on the 85?

10. if i put 300zx turbo injectors from an 87 on to a maxima year 87 whatl happen" if itl produce a better engine sound with a hp bonus lemme kno

11. gotta relocate the batt to the trunk for the ram air setup with the hood scoop and rx7 air box with k&n filter

12. it took me 1 hour to figure the intake setup out

13. still gonna do the turdo upgrade but not gonna swap engines

14. if i was gonna swap the engine i would do the vg33e with the vh45dek pistonsand have a 4.3 liter turbo sleeper i thhink itl work if not ill make it

15. mmmmmmmmmnissan vg34et

16. if ne one has any suggestoins comments please lemme kno i need em..

17. if your reading this youve gone through too much trouble and you need to find sometim else to do than be on the org......j/k

#1 sounds like your battery isn't holding a charge. You need a new one. If it was your alternator, you would be able to run the car off the battery for at least a little while, depending on how well you charged it up.

For #10, you need to know the size of your original injectors compared to the twin turbo Z injectors. The difference will be pretty large. I'm confident that you will need some form of fuel control for them, in the form of an SAFC or Emanage.

i'd check to see what the alternator is putting out before you go and replace it. just get a digital voltmeter and hook it onto the battery while the engine is running. turn the lights, heater etc on to put a load on it...it should read around 13.5 volts.
check your battery cable clamps too. make sure they're not corroded and they're on the battery posts nice and tight and making a good connection

To be more precise, it should be the hose that runs from the crankcase ventilation valve. Then again I haven't looked at a Max valve cover in awhile.
