Yeah I've heard a few 3rd gen guys have done it. I'm getting this guy reinforced when it's being welded back together. Hopefully it'll hold together.

Hahaha that's pretty sucky. I've only seen that happen on a street/strip car making a lot more power. But old stuff wears out.

Make sure it's welded really good. MIG or TIG ought to do the trick.

This is the same problem that happen back in July/August. I am just now getting round to fixing it, Surra.

Tyler: My uncle is most likely going to MIG it. He's an experienced metal work/mechanic, so I'm sure he'll have the bases covered when fixing it. Besides, who says I wasn't making a lot of powah? For all you know I've been making 395whp, 405wtq, and forgetting to mention it to the forum.

Are you? That would be badass. Big single turbo or LS1 for the win.

lol naw....but it would've been funny as hell if I got someone to believe it! After the turbo, I'm hoping for more down to earth numbers of 250whp 250-275wtq.

What kind of turbo? I'm guessing TD05.

nah, starting with a T3 for now....maybe 2 since I have 2. Actually would like to go up to a T04E or something in that neighborhood...but that's WAY down the road.

That's cool. I guess a T3 will suit your needs for this motor. A sequential setup would be cool to see though.

Trust me, if my friend can fit a GT42R into the engine bay of a 3000GT/Stealth, you can fit two T3's in your Max. The Max engine bay is sooooo much roomier.

See what I mean:

Go with a single T3/04 Hybrid after you burn up your T3.
