1st Gen AutoX Pictures

I thought I'd post some of the autox pictures from this season... enjoy.

I've been unable to get the BBS wheels out to NY as of yet.. but I'm hoping to do so by the end of the summer...

stress out!

That makes me cringe to see a 25 year old car put to the test like that. Good to see your more brave than I. My '81 creaks and groans at the sight of an orange cone. It can handle it better than my '60 DeSoto, though. Fun to see. Thanks for sharing.

Maximauto.

Looks cool to me. I just got my Max on the road again and that is what Iám setting it up for also. I enjoy autox and the Maxima stock handles better than most 240Zs I have had ( 8 Zs to be exact ). I will post some pictures soon.

Mechanically, the car is fairly well sorted and maintained. So, I'm willing to push the limits... and then willing to fix what I may break (usually not much, the car is surprisingly resilient).

Not brave, but confident !

I have worked on Datsuns / Nissans for 25 years. These cars can take it. I have seen kids put 510s,240Zs, and all the rest to the test of all the idiotic things you can imagine.

My 215s rub a bit when cornering at high steering angles.

Looking great Chris. I am hoping to finish my L28E conversion on my 810. I am still up in the air but I might be selling her...

Awsome!

I forget if I posted any photos here of me screwing around
in my '84 Datsun Maxima. These cars take a good beating.

Right, because you set the bar on condition and how people maintain thier cars. Good job.

Thanks for the compliments.

MT, as for the helmet... the seat is now bolted directly to the floor (no slider at all) and it is reclined a bit to allow me to fit :-). I'm going to end up dropping the floor, but for now its good.

I really like the 200sx turbo wheels on the max. The stock 14s are an eyesore.
