damn, looks like you beat me to getting projectors in my car. oh well, I will be going to the Ionic dynamics bbq on july 2nd so maybe you can show me how u did it. Still waiting to get some good projectors (the ones I have don't have a cutoff shield) what projectors r u using? I might not do the projector retrofit at all, might want to keep it under the radar as a sleeper (to prevent theft and curiousity from the cops)

its better not to risk any problems from the cops. Seeing as though it is a holiday weekend, they may be out at places where there are going to be a lot of people. I'll see ya at the bbq

That is the reason why I reccomend using HID upgrades then the projectors. Those that you have are Euro looking, and makes for setting your ride different than others, but would you rather risk it for tickets? California and Washington are notorious for busting guys like us for unauthorized modifications, where other states cares less as long as you car meets DOT regulations.

WTF is a anti-smog device anyway?

how is the cutoff on those projectors? If they come out good enough, I might be thinking of having you help me out getting mine in.

yeah, no problem Big E. I am just glad to see that someone else is taking some serious lighting upgrades for this car, it definitely needs it. The main problem with mine is that the cutoff shield isn't there. I don't want craploads of glare so I am waiting untill i can get another pair of xenon projectors . do you think we can fab some cutoff shields for them if I want to use those?

Are 300zx projectors any good, in your expert opinion. . My local do-it-yourself junkyard sells the whole headlight assembly for $25 a piece.

I'm gonna make a trip to the yard this week cause my 2nd gen needs some parts. If there are any 300zx's in there, I'll get the headlights out.
