Drove the 88 for the first time in a long time

Man, what a thrill driving that car was.! I forgot how the custom intake sounded. What a wonderful drive. Had the stereo going, and it was nice! I floored it a couple of times around the neighborhood on the long main drive roads, heads turning everywhere trying to see what car was making that heavy deep growl. I loved it. Some guy came by my house wanting to buy it. Said he saw it just sitting there and thought something was wrong with it. I said nope. He still gave me his phone number though. I guess Ill keep it just in case my finances get really bad and push comes to shove. Anyway, just wanted to share my joyride I had today.

I love the sound of Custom Intakes on the Max's. They are a thrill to drive around. It's been so long since i've driven my 85 wagon (Tried fixing the fuel pump today, so i could drive it again, but failed). I miss driving my Max. Your post brought back good memories.

I wish I could drive my old maxima....except I don't have it anymore. I miss the sound and the fun.

I drove my 84 for the first time since I got my driver's lisence nearly five years ago. It struggles a little to get up a hill but it's still awesome.

as far as I can remember they are made of a clear plastic. It is a round piece with a little plateau in the middle that is round as well. not sure if those are used in the doors and whatnot

How much did it sell for? Im actually getting my car ready to be up for sale. Cleaned her up in and out very nicely. Getting all the papers, vehicle maintenance history together, title and all ready to go. Getting it inspected sometime this week and then Ill be driving it around to advertise it pretty much.

funny (not really) story. The car ran thru the auction, and my friend called me after the auction (my friend runs the auction), he told me the car sold for $500 but the person who on the bid said they had to go home to get there license....the person never came back and they did not sign the sale ticket. So its not sold yet.

If anyone in the area is reading this in the area the car is still for sale. It has a bunch of new parts, I cold ac, new exhaust with magnaflow stainless steel muffler...etc. The car will run again next week if its not sold before then.

Drove mine today also after 2 weeks of sitting. Did a few WOT runs around the block too. Every drive reminds me how much I just can't sell her

Did the old button cause the brake lights to stay on? Or what was the problem? Just curious.

It wasnt the button. It was the plastic white clear *** that pressed the button that broke.
