Air Intake

Ok I keep seeing menbers mention custom intakes, does anyone have instructions on creating and installing one on a 87 Max?
Or is there an aftermarket brand I can modify? Also front strut tower brace, I read that 93 to 97 altima would work if we modify the bracket, has anyione done this also?

For the intake , Get a thottle body cone filter adapter at pep boys for like 4 bucks , Or try to find a maf adapter.

Youll need a short pipe to go in between the Throttle body and maf , And then another pipe with nipples on it for all you're vacum holes.

So it would look like this.

TB Pipe Maf

I was looking at it, my old 93 Maxima, it was cut and dry, this one I need a pipe and drill holes for the vacuum lines. Not really confused, just more work then I had planned on doing for a air intake.

e-bay is where most people get it. I think a 1994 altima strut bar will work

I don't know about the rest of the parts, but I know for a fact that the egr is absolutely necessary due to federal emissions standards

I love the sound of the custom Intakes on 2nd Gens, sounds so mean. Im gunna miss that sound when i go to a Turbo setup, but there are awsome sounds to that too.

Im lucky to live in a city that does not require Emissions testing. No EGR.. heh heh.
