Go to Best Buy, get the 1995-up radio wiring harness(the one which plugs into the back of the radio, not the one for the car). It has all the wires marked+color coded.

It will work but you have to use your own amp and wire the Bose HU to it, which is what I did with my 2nd gen.

I got it cause My Kenwood HU and seperate EQ was stolen. I needed something low key and the way I needed it to sound

Another thing, the impedence of the Bose speakers I know are 6 ohms. The ones I were using were 4 ohms. There wasn't much volume which is why I use a 600 watt amp to power my 8 speakers I have set up. An additional amp was used to power my 2 subs. If 6 ohm speakers were used, maybe there would have been more volume. Any other questions just ask.

^^^My bad for the double post^^^

that wire is just to give it power, there a re other cable4s to route in order to hookup the AMp itself to the unit.

The output would be accomplished by way of those line level outputs. Still confused? When you say wiring diagram, do you need the color references for the wires; cause I had one before. I'll look for it.

Do you need the plugs for the back of the Bose? I have them, and the single bose amp from a G20 (setup like a 5th gen) too if you are feeling frisky with the wiring. I also have the Bose 6.5" front speakers and tweeters from the G20.

If you have an aftermarket amp you can get a line converter to bring the Bose pre amp signal up to line level.

Has anyone noticed that his screenname as 873000 says banned. And now there's been posts under 8730000 screenname, which incidentally is now also banned? Oh boy, I smell a perma.

Maybe you should private message him/her because re-registering while banned is not the way to go. You ever read the ban log? Apparantly something is wrong. You don't wanna risk a blocked I.P. address.

Sorry to hear that. Well yes then sell it, so I can be the only one on the .org with a Bose HU in a 2nd gen. Albeit not the full Bose setup with speakers and all. But hell, mines sound better anyways
